BUDGET

Full expenses for accommodation, transportation and tour package in Thailand.

This is the total cost. I use rate 1000THB for RM125.00.

RM2388.60 (4 peoples)

1 person = RM597.15 = RM600.00

Advice;

you can save money at tour package, try to find more cheaper package
Use taxi with meter, otherwise they can cheat you
Taxi is more cheaper than tuk tuk
Try to find hostel or hotel that provide free breakfast.
Try to fix a certain budget for each person. So, you can work within the budget.
Brings more food from Malaysia like chocolate and bread.
PRAY FOR MALAYSIA CURRENCY..

Record all you expenditure. so, you will know how much money you had left.

LAST DAY (Going Back To Malaysia)

Last day in Thailand. We don't have any plan for today. so, we just decide to walk around and buy souvenirs and spend all the Thai money. haha

To say good morning to our body, we had our malaysian style breakfast at one restaurant near our hostel. We ate ROTI CANAI and NASI LEMAK.. heaven.. heaven... I can't remember the name of this restaurant because when we saw this restaurant, we just walk in. They are many halal restaurant in Hatyai. So, you just need to walk and you will find it.

After eating. we just walk around..

Have a last cup of Thai milk tea and Green tea. This will cost you around RM7 in malaysia.. But here, you can get this for 25THB (around RM3 ).. Will miss it.... T_T ... For me, the best Thai milk tea and green tea at Cha Payom in Hatyai...

We had our last lunch in Thailand.... We decide to finish all the thai baht at here. So, we are ordering without counting the price. So, when the time we had to pay for the bill, we are short for 10 THB.. haha.. We ask to pay in Malaysian money for the balance. Moral of the story... Please Count the cost correctly before you order something...haha

Like always.. They had their tom yam.. I'm just eat rice with egg and vegetables,,,,, T_T

We are checkout around 2.00pm because our train departure at 4.00pm. We are saying good bye to Fon and give her meggy from Malaysia for her to try. haha

We just walk to Train station from Hatyai Youth Hostel.

Hatyai Station have prayer room for muslim.

The train like always, PUNCTUAL. we are leaving Hatyai at 4.00pm. The train will stop again at Padang Besar for immigration. But this time, you need to bring down all you beg for checking. The train will stop like one hour. You have ample time to buy food or drink.

We reach Ipoh at 12.30am..

Thanks for this awesome vacation. Haha. Even though sometimes we close to reach our climax. haha.. Please accept my apology for the wrong that I have done.

END OF OUR RAILWAY VACATION

FIFTH DAY.... HELLO HAT YAI

Welcome to Hatyai. Yeahh .. Finally, after 18 hours in the train.huhu..
We reach Hat Yai around 9.15 am.. The first thing that we do when we reach Hat Yai train station is buying the train ticket to Malaysia.

"I'm coming home.. coming home. Tell the world I'm coming home"

After we get the tickets.. we straight away check in to our hostel.

Hat Yai Youth Hostel is just walking distance from the train station. (around 5-10 minutes of walking)

Like other accommodation, we have a problem when we wanna pay for the booking earlier, So, we email this hostel and tell them that we will pay during check in. We book for 4 female room , fan (1200THB). They offer us to upgrade to aircond room, 4 female for 1400THB. We accept it.. hehehe.

This hostel really comfortable. It's have clean room, clean washroom. They provide hot water.

The worker at the hostel also very kind. Her name is Fon. Fon give us a map and show us the interesting places in Hat Yai.. It was really helpful.

At afternoon, we start our exploration..

1. Lunch at Kedai Kelantan

We had our lunch here. They can speak malay and you can pay with malaysian ringgit. A bit expensive.

2. Lee Garden Plaza

Largest shopping mall at Hat Yai. We have no intention to buy anything. Just walk around

3. Walking at market.

There are many markes at Hatyai and they located near to each other..

4. Khlong Hae Floating Market

We walk for 5 km to go there.... Gigih..

Map reader.. haha.. Focus Focus.. She is very confident that she is good at reading a map.

They sell soo many things. Shoes, bag and many more.. Good place for shopaholic.

basically hatyai does not have many places to visit. Its really a good place to SHOPPING. Seriously....

After that we just go back to our hostel and watch Anuegrah Juara Lagu,..

ADVICE: In Hatyai, there's no taxi with meter. They only have tuk tuk. So, you need to be good at bargain because you can get cheaper price for the tuk tuk.

END OF FIFTH DAY

Be Brave, Take RISKS, Get EXPERIENCE

I can't SLEEP well last night!! Hell yeahhh. I don't know why I'm too sesnsitive during this trip..

We have our free breakfast at Immjai Hostel. FOOD!!!!!!! yehoooooo. haha.
They serve simple breakfast like toast, biscuit, coffee, vico and tea. It's more than enough for us.

"Good day strat with a Good meal"

After breakfast, we check out and start walking around Khao San Road. It's really nice to experience morning lifestyle of local people. They eat rice also in the morning. What i know, they really like to eat spicy. They eat rice with a place of green chillies.. Superb!

There are also many mornig market along the road. You can have many food here.

I try this banana. Its around 10THB.

After that we go to Chatuchak Weekend Market by Taxi (100THB)

Chatuchak Weekend Market (heaven for shoppaholic)

It's is really big!!!! We actually don't know where to start and where to go. We just walking around. They have ,many section such as surviniour, Cloth, shoes, art, ceramic, food and many more.. Please budget more time here because you can't finish to see all with a short time.

We find two muslim restaurant here. One i don't remember the name but the other one is SAMAN ISLAM, located near the clock tower. BUT.. The price is really expensive and the worker not really nice. They lack of smiling... Hell..

After had our lunch, we take taxi to Hua Lamphon train station because our train at 3.35pm.

KANCHANABURI (BACK TO NATURE)

Morning at the V.N Guest House is really refreshing. Above picture is the view in front of our room. We wake up as early as possible because our tour start at 8.00am. In front of each room, they provide table and chairs to hang out. It's was really nice to enjoy the view.

About breakfast. at V.N Guest House they have their own cafe. But for halal food, I think they dont provide. So, we eat maggy and bread that we bring from Malaysia.We can ask for hot water at the counter without any charge.They don't allow us to eat at the cafe but we can eat at our room.

In Kanchanaburi, we are using tour guide to bring us around. You can read from other people blog to find the best tour company. But for us, we choose Good Times Travel because it was suggested by V.N Guest House. There are two type of package, private and group tour.

Group tour is more cheaper than private. We choose private. haha. Its cost 1900THB for each person. They provide lunch but not halal. We email them that we don't want the lunch and they cut the cost for 1800 for each person.

There are two tour guide that accompany us, Nana and Big. Nana is really friendly and make us feels really comfortable.Her english also easy to understand, it's maybe because she have soo many year experience handling tourist.

Lets see where this tour package bring us:

1. ERAWAN NATIONAL PARK

Erawan National Park is the place for jungle tracking. There are seventh stage and every stage have it's own waterfall.

We manage untill stage 5 only. hahaha.Our plan, we don't want to get wet because it's gonna be hard for us to bring wet cloth. But, we can't resist the force of nature. We fall to it's beautiful.. hahaha.

The unique part at erawan waterfall, there have many fish in the water. The fish will bite your leg like fish treatment at the spa. you can get free treatment here. haha.. because i cannot stand the tickle. I will shout each time they bite me. haha.. to make them get away, you must keep moving you body..

After take bath.. we walk back to starting point. We take bath again at the toilet and change our cloth.. Good Time Travel provide us towel and cold mineral water.. NICE!

We perform our prayer here. There no prayer room here. We ask for a place and they give us a mat. Its more than enough for us. We leave Erawan Waterfall around 1.00pm.

2. ELEPHANT RIDE

We are really excited. haha.. This is our first time meehhhh..

There are two peoples can ride for each elephant. Not really far. But for experience...

Advice: After for each elephat, have their own trainer. At the end of the ride. You can give them a tips. If you dont wannna give also can. But, me and nisaq really stupid about this.. we give 200THB.. hahaha. Arifah and ari only give 40THB.. waaaaaaaa... First experienceto give tips. We dont really know how much the suitable amount...
