First Day (RAILWAY VACATION)

First day = Travelling day

WHY??? Because we spend 22 hours just in the train. haha

The journey start from IPOH because all of us are Perakians. Ipoh mali.. Ipoh.. Ipoh.. mali.. haha
We took bus from Aman Jaya Terminal Bus Station to Station Bus Butterworth at 10.00am.

Bus Ticket= RM19.50
It's take 2 hours to reach Butterworth. We reach there around 12.00pm. The train station is just behind the bus station.

The first challenge that we will face, start in butterworth. haha. From a blog that we read, he's saying that there is a food court around the bus station. So, we plan , when we reach Butterworth, we will eat first and buy food for dinner on the train. UNFORTUNATELY, the food court is close. Hell! we were hungry at that time and we need to eat or bring food in  the train because the journey will take 22 hours. There's no food court or shop inside bus station and train station as well.

So, the only solution that we can think. KFC DELIVERY.
ADVICE: Just buy food anywhere before you come here.

The rider reach at 1.50pm, me and Nisaq need to run to get the KFC and run back to catch the train. This is all because the lift is too slow. 

 EXERCISING. Hope SAFA will proud of me. haha

Our train really punctual. Not like what we read from the blog. They said, the train will usually delay for 2 hours. Our Good Luck maybe. haha.

The tickets for the train we buy one month before the date because the seats are limited. There are two type of bed. Upper (RM111.90) and lower (RM103.90).

In day time. They don't open the bed yet. It's just normal seat. The above picture is seating for two peoples. You can put table if you want. It's really comfortable.

They have two types of toilet. (Duduk dan cangkung). They also have shower and sink in the toilet.

You can finish all your work in the toilet while watching peoples outside, haha. 

Don't worry. This window can be close.

They also have small ermmm. not a cafe. But you can order all the drinks or food and they will serve at your seat. They also accept ringgit and thai baht.

We settle our lunch.

Sketching Time. When your friend is an architecture student. You will learn this kind of things. 

Around 5.00pm we reach at Padang Besar. The train will stop one hour for immigration.The immigration checking is really simple. you don't need to take down your bag. You just need to bring your passport only.

After immigration checking, we just go inside and wait.

JENG JENG JENG.. we face our second challenge. haha

We got cheated. There are someone selling the simcard for 200THB. It's have 7days unlimited Internet and 150THB credit inside, So, I thought the price was quite ok because the last time when I were in Thailand I buy TRUE MOVE simcard for 199THB, 7 days unlimited data. But i don't remember about how much the credit inside. So, after long thinking, 4 of us decide to buy it. He's shown us the credit inside and we'll see that it's state 150THB. When the train is moving, the man gets down. After that we check again the balance of the credit, BUT.. now it's says that we only have 50THB inside. Hell yeahhh... First day.. we got cheated by somebody.. accept this advice guys. Don't buy from people that come to you. You can just buy at train station or 7Eleven.

At Padang Besar, you  also can buy food . there are people that coming in the train to sell food and also to change currency. But, the rate is high. NOT worth it. 

 Around 6.15pm or 6.30pm we continue our journey The worker start to transform our seat to bed,,

We are just talking to kill the time.Seems like a whole coach can hear our story. There's so many things to catch up. Seriously. we had enough time. We should bring poker card or jutaria. 

Can you see the woman at the left... haha. We forgot to take picture with her. So, this the only picture that have her. Her name is Stevel, from Switzerland. She offers us watermelon and because of its food, we just accept it without thinking twice.. haha.. I talk to her, asking her background. Nice story mehhhhh. She's a backpacker. She said that she only planning her journey to Borneo (Sabah and Sarawak) . After that, she just follows her heart. When she want to go anywhere, she is just going. Indonesia, Philippine.. She said she will be in Bangkok like 2 days maybe and then go to Chiang Mai.. Maybe Vietnam.. nice. Hoping one day I can do like her.. She said, 

 " Travel without any planning is really fun. Follow your heart. Being in a strange place is fun. See new things, see the world "
